    “Opening Song”

    In Da Clouds

What a tremendous example of how prog rock can be fun yet complex at the same time.  Hero Across The Sky (AKA as HATS) has fun with their music, making songs that are reminiscent of what would happen in Marc Bolan and Steve Howe got together (along with Jon Anderson from Olias of Sunhillow time.  Sometimes, prog rockers are too darned serious, but HATS have a great time.  HATS is made up of Bijan Shoushtarizadeh-gtr/midi gtr, Nick Cicchetti-Bass, and Jon Model-Drums.  Coming from Northern Orange County, HATS is turning the prog rock/math rock scene upside down.  I love this band.  You will too.
