    “Cruise”

    LateNight EP

Chris Keya is a tremendous synthwave artist from Rome that produces music similar to Kraftwerk but more human sounding with these rich synth/keyboard tones that make you drift to this other world.  I had this song on the other day, and it made me want to get into my car and just drive.  It is that powerful.  He has two albums out on Spotify, and I recommend you to check them out.  The most accurate way to describe his great work is synth with soul.  Though he started life playing and guitar and singing backup with various bands:

Chris Keya would eventually turn his ambitions toward a career and production and would shortly begin pursuing his love for funk and r&b music.

Keya has succeeded. His synthwave is beautiful, complex yet accessible, humanized, and most of all, funky and soulful.  Wonderful work.  Check him out for sure.
