    “Little Animal”

I love this song.  To me, it’s almost like a lullaby to all of us who have a hard day, night, week, month, year.  It’s tremendously lighthearted about the life of any of us who work, no matter what.  It reminds me a lot of “The Ballad Of Mott The Hoople”.  According to Fox and Bones’ bio,

The folk duo wrote “Little Animal” in a hotel in Germany after performing for fourteen straight shows during their 2017 European tour. In a whirlwind of stress and excitement, Scott Gilmore (vocals and guitar) sat down on a day off in their hotel room to start writing amidst the overwhelming journey. “It touches on the concept that life is always changing,” said Sarah Vitort (vocals). “Though it may feel like you may never be making progress, we never stay exactly the same for long. It’s also a reminder to be gentle on ourselves and enjoy the journey, not just focus on the destination.”

That’s the whole point of the greatest journeys: taking the time out to “enjoy the journey”.  I love the video.  I always considered myself as a puppy.  Really the cutest the video of all time.
