    “Chokehold”

    Acts Of Fear And Love

Rock n roll lives again.  The beginning of the song kicks with those power chords I love so much, reminiscent of Jack White’s attack, but the background vocals just kill this song (in a great way).  This is not your typical rock music; this is more like what the 90’s were best at, yet updated to a new time, a new audience.  Slaves is Vocals, Drums – Isaac Holman and Guitar, Vocals – Laurie Vincent.  Coming from Kent, UK, this band slays me.  And remember, like the White Stripes, there are just the two of them.  This is my new band.  Blast this from your car radio.  And for you musicians out there who have suffered through auditions, the video nails the frustration perfectly.
