    The Pleading

    “Lunar”

My favorite alternative hard rock band has a new single out, and, as usual, it’s a killer.  The Pleading from Nashville prove you can be ’emo’ and hard hitting as hell at the same time.  Consisting of J.Cease Owens – Vocals | Brandon Sather – Drums | Justin Peaytt – Guitar | Matt Robertson – Guitar | Tyler Baxter – Bass, this band pulls no punches, yet is absolutely beautiful and heartfelt.  Owens has some of the best vocals out there, and you can understand what he’s singing, and that is so important with The Pleading because they have something to say.  The guitars are so wonderfully riff-propelled, and the bass and drums propel the band to the stratosphere.  This is the sound that I always wanted Eve 6 to achieve.  Thanks guys.  Whenever the Pleading release something, I feel so much better.  Rock on.  Oh yeah, they are super hot looking too.

Child crying, reaching out but no one’s there Tired of trying to please a world that does not care. Forced by violence, your sadness echoes through the night Falling silent, as angels weep with me tonight Lonely friend, I know the pain you hide and every grievous tear, and every prayer to die. Lonely friend, my arms are open wide To hold you through your storm, and whisper everything’s alright. Child hiding, defiled by hate disguised as love Tired of crying, beneath the lunar skies above. Endless wading, through inner pain that no one knows Vision fading, as darkness comes through crimson flow. Lonely friend, I know the pain you hide and every grievous tear, and every prayer to die. Lonely friend, my arms are open wide To hold you through your storm, and whisper everything’s alright. To hold you through your storm, and whisper everything’s alright. To hold you through your storm, and whisper everything’s alright. Lonely friend, I know the pain you hide and every grievous tear, and every prayer to die. Lonely friend, my arms are open wide To hold you through your storm, and whisper everything’s alright. Lonely friend, I know the pain you hide and every grievous tear, and every prayer to die. Lonely friend, my arms are open wide To hold you through your storm, and whisper everything’s alright. Dedicated to: Michael David Smolen
