Eerie Wanda has an interesting life story, which has strongly influenced her musical path, and may even explain the beautiful imagery of “Moon”. According to her bio:
Eerie Wanda is the brainchild of audio and visual artist Marina Tadic. Born to Croatian parents in the former Yugoslavia, Marina became a political refugee when she was just 6 years old. Forced to leave their home due to the Bosnian war, Marina’s parents sought asylum in the Netherlands- which is where Marina grew into an adult, became an accomplished artist, and where she still resides.
All I know, her music is beautiful, and her second album is ready to be released in January of 2019, guaranteeing 2019 will be a great year musically. Working with Marina are Jasper Verhulst and Jeroen de Heuvel, each who live close to her, but they decided to do their parts separately. However they recorded this beautiful album, it works. Listen and fall in love. Marina’s voice is really unique in a great way.
