Melodic Noise: Me & Munich – “Toxic Wings”

    Me & Munich

    “Toxic Wings”

    Knives Of The Sun

Me & Munich are back with another great song.  Toxic Wing comes off their debut EP, and it is a killer track.  Me & Munich are a Danish duo playing melodic noise rock. Comprised of Marco Bøgehøj and Jan Petersen, the duo used to be part of Shocking White and have already made a name for themselves in the tight-knit Danish post punk community.  On Toxic Wings, Me & Munich adds beautiful melodies to the noise rock form, never sacrificing noise for beauty making an amazing gelling of the two forms.  I love Me & Munich; they prove, without a doubt, that noise can actually be (dare I say it) pretty.  This is no weak pop band; this is a ballsy post punk noise band that plays with melody.
