What a very strong, powerful band, filled with crazy rhythms and great background instruments, all supporting the great Dani Neff, called by some the next Annie Clark. I certainly get the comparison. Neff not only can sing, but she shreds that guitar. Megafauna is comprised of Dani Neff (Lead Guitar and Vocals), Zack Humphrey (Drums), Will Krause (bass), and Winston Barrett (keys, guitar). Adding the wonderful juxtaposition of Humphrey and Krause’s great bass and drums rhythms and Barrett’s super-interesting keyboard techniques, with Neff just killing it above, the whole takes you to a new dimension where, actually, no life has existed before. This is stratospheric rock. Imagine Ann’s voice and Nancy’s guitar in one person, you have the next Heart.
