    Grow Rich

    “Kawan Lama”

    Frantic Semantic EP

This tremendous rocker from Grow Rich, the one-man band of Abdur Rahim Latada is exactly the music we need for a long hot summer.  Except for the drums, which were done by Arya Gilang Laksana and some lead guitar work by Pandu Fuzztoni, this is all Oyi, as his friends call him.  The song, meaning “Old Friend”, just thunders by with great guitar riffs, frenetic drumming, and wonder bass.  The vocals are perfect rock vocals.  This song will thunder in your head.  This is no shy, math rock; this is straight-out rock.  Coming from Indonesia, Grow Rich prove the fact that South-East Asia understands rock n roll better than anyone else right now.  Get on this express now.
