Worldly Soul: People Club – “Better”

    People Club

    “Better”

What a great, soulful band, that type of band that sounds perfect on summer evenings.  People Club is Sarah Martin (lead vocals), Saxon Vines (guitar/vocals), Ray Sonder (bass/vocals), Drew Deal (drums/percussion) and Pete Costello (synthesizer/keys/vocals). Although the members hail from the United States, United Kingdom, New Zealand and Australia, they came together in Berlin, Germany to answer an ad for musicians in which may be the great ad answering since The Cramps advertised and got Nick Knox.  This is a great soulful band.  With swaying synths, wonderful percussion, vocals (with great harmonies), and guitar and bass working some real magic, “Better” is the song of the summer.  I’m so excited to here what other magic People Club have for us.
