This is an amazing version of the old Donovan song.  del Rey manages to add sexuality to a scary song, something she is so good at.  This song fits her voice so well.  Sex, fear, are two of the most powerful inborn traits in the human species, and del Rey knows how to use both to her advantage.  del Rey certainly has proved that she is not just a one trick pony, but she has depths that haven’t even been explored.  And her new album, Norman Fuckin Rockwell, is coming out soon, so that should be worth while.  Thank you, Lana del Rey, for being yourself and making such great emotional music.
