God Hates Unicorns – “Chipped Ma’am”

God Hates Unicorns – “Chipped Ma’am”

The ultimate in what the band refers to as ‘dick rock’, God Hates Unicorns is a perfect example of Pittsburgh rock n roll; irreverent, loud, obnoxious, hilarious, and damned perfect punk/hard rock band.  (Chipped Ma’am, of course, refers to that Pittsburgh/Youngstown delicacy, chipped ham). Comprised of Joshua Hartz, vocalist/Keyboardist; Jeff Zambon, keyboards/bass; Tim Saunders, drums; Marcus “Mote” Gabriel, Guitar; Matthew “B!ff Nasty” Crippen, base; and Jessica Zoric, vocals; GHU “mixes sleazy grooves, bombastic rhythms and unapologetic lyrics to engage and most definitely tantalize the listener in more than one (ear) hole.”  GHU might just represent Pittsburgh better than any band playing right now.  If you’re in Pittsburgh, check them out.  On August 14, they are playing the Block Party Puppet Freakout Round 2 in West Mifflin, PA.  GHU will rock the house down.
