    Toro Y Moi’s Mahal is as brilliantly layered album with varying styles of music that keep you attuned the whole time. Toro Y Moi surreptitiously moves from one beat to the next on the songs leaving you thinking he’s started a whole new song when actually you’re listening to a different verse. “Clarity” and “Foreplay” are brilliant examples of this. “Magazine” and “The Medium” are a rare breed of song. Teaming up with Unknown Mortal Orechestra on “The Medium” you’re instantly taken to an alien landscape. This album is really a trip. Listen to one of the better albums of 2022 below:
