Diamond Cafe unveils the video for his latest single “When You Can’t Resist.” The track, a product of his collaboration with Grammy-awarded producer Pomo (known for work with Jon Batiste, Anderson.Paak, Free Nationals), delves into the theme of using self-medication to cope with a breakup. Created with ease and speed by Diamond, the song draws inspiration from his struggles with vices during emotional distress.

Dubbed as the “Pop-Funk Prodigy” by Pitchfork, Diamond Cafe blends captivating performances with a mix of R&B and funky synth-pop, reminiscent of past musical eras. His strong vocals and impressive falsetto, akin to a church choir, deliver soulful harmonies that demand attention. In a realm of auto-tuned R&B, Diamond’s authentic sound distinguishes him.

In 2023, Diamond established a loyal fanbase, sold out live shows, and released “Diamond Cuts” – remastered fan favorites from his independent releases. Earning accolades from figures like Zack Fox, Anderson.Paak, F1’s Lewis Hamilton, Nick Littlemore (PNAU), and El DeBarge, with whom he performed in LA, Diamond’s talent is undeniable. Named Amazon Music’s “Artist to Watch” for 2024, Diamond Cafe is on the brink of a breakout year, promising new releases and eagerly-awaited live performances.
