HVNTED TO HOST ONE-DAY MUSIC FESTIVAL “WE CARE” IN COLLABORATION WITH AMERICAN FOUNDATION FOR SUICIDE PREVENTION AND BOWLERO CO.’S LUCKY STRIKE HOLLYWOOD

(January 22nd, 2024 – Hollywood, CA) Los Angeles Rock Band HVNTED is partnering with the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention to raise funds for mental health crises through a one-day music festival at Lucky Strike in Hollywood, CA, on February 24th at 12pm. Attendees can immerse themselves in a compelling musical experience while contributing to a vital cause focused on the well-being of the music community.

This unique initiative showcases the musical talent of HVNTED and other acts from three west coast states, who demonstrate the Rock and Roll community’s commitment to mental well- being. This free, all-ages, one-day event is dedicated to raising funds for the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, through a series of auctions, raffles, and donations. Prizes will include signed albums from Grammy and Academy Award winning composer Bill Conti (Rocky Franchise, Karate Kid Franchise, and For Your Eyes Only), an autographed book from Vicki Hamilton (Former manager of Guns N’ Roses, Motley Crue and Poison), merch packages from the performing bands, and more.

“We were never the ‘cool’ kids in high school. We weren’t weird or anything. But, when the bigger kids are having a bad day, for some reason, we were the ones they would take it out on. We always felt ‘hunted,” says HVNTED lead singer and song writer Will Swanson. HVNTED bassist Jack Cotter also shared his experience with depression, “I’ve battled some pretty serious depression. I remember how dark things seemed. I was one of the lucky ones because I had my band. They really helped me get through some bad times. I totally understand how people are overcome by it. Hosting this festival is our way of doing something about it. We want people to know there is always hope.”
HVNTED, an alternative rock band known for their bold lyrics and melodic anthems, continues to strive every day to support other performers.

The band’s upcoming EP was produced by award winning record producer Curt Martain. They have received praise from Grammy award winning music executive Vicki Hamilton (Guns & Roses, Motley Crue, and Poison), and Alt 98.7 radio host Ted Stryker (formerly KROQ Locals

Only host). The band has worked with Keith Nelson of Buckcherry, Stacy Jones of American Hi-fi and multiplatinum producer Bruce Robb of Cherokee Records.

Established in 1987, the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP) is a voluntary health organization committed to providing a nationwide community empowered by research, education, and advocacy to address suicide, a leading cause of death in the United States. Dedicated to saving lives and instilling hope among those affected, AFSP engages in core strategies such as funding scientific research, public education on mental health and suicide prevention, advocating for mental health policies, and offering support to survivors of suicide loss and those impacted by suicide. The organization strives to create a culture that is knowledgeable and proactive about mental health, fostering a collective effort to combat this critical issue.
