Caleb Landry Jones, renowned for his significant roles in acclaimed TV series and movies such as “Get Out,” “Twin Peaks: The Return,” and “X-Men: First Class,” showcases his musical prowess beyond his cinematic achievements. Today, he unveils Hey Gary, Hey Dawn, his fourth studio album set for release on April 5, 2024, through his long-time label, Sacred Bones. Alongside the announcement, Jones releases “Corn Mine,” the album’s first single, revealing a dramatically dark aspect of his musical style. Over a gritty, garage rock backdrop, Jones delivers haunting vocals for nearly four minutes. The track is paired with a ghostly video that depicts Jones performing the song in a scaled-down replica of the eponymous corn mine.
The reveal of the new album aligns with Jones’s ongoing month-long residency at C-Boy’s in Austin, Texas, which is expected to highlight his participation at SXSW with a memorable performance.
