London’s High Vis has unveiled their latest single, “Mob DLA,” via Dais Records, marking their first release of 2024. This track channels a raw street punk energy, offering a visceral preview of their upcoming album set to drop later this year.

High Vis vocalist Graham Sayle sheds light on the inspiration behind “Mob DLA,” stating:

“The relentless public service cuts over the years have had a devastating impact on UK communities. People are forced to justify their need for help, undergoing dehumanizing tests to prove their eligibility for support, even for lifelong disabilities. Marginalized groups are left to fend for themselves, only to be vilified in targeted media smear campaigns. Meanwhile, political and industrial elites enjoy ever-increasing bonuses and salaries. I’ve witnessed this in my own family—the palpable stress and anxiety of people merely trying to carve out a place in a world that feels increasingly hostile. Yet, amid this sustained neglect, the strength of community action stands resilient.”

The latest single precedes a string of festival performances around the globe this summer, including Hurricane Festival in Germany, Hellfest in France, Glastonbury in the UK, Louder Than Life in Kentucky, Aftershock in California, Mondra & Roll in Spain, and more. High Vis will also be accompanying Speed for a run of shows in Australia this August and September alongside Pain of Truth and Fuse. Tickets can be found HERE.
