    Paul Russell, homecoming

Platinum recording artist Paul Russell is set to make a significant mark with his highly anticipated debut EP, Again Sometime?, scheduled for release on August 30th via Arista Records. To build the excitement, Russell has unveiled the introductory track, “Homecoming,” which is available now. The release of this single, along with the EP, comes just in time for his upcoming appearance on Meghan Trainor’s Timeless Tour, which will be lighting up arenas across North America this fall.

Russell describes Again Sometime? as the first chapter in a series of stories he’s eager to share. This initial EP is a love story told in seven scenes, charting the emotional highs of a relationship’s early stages—from the yearning to be together to the joy of finding a connection and, ultimately, the declaration of long-term love. Russell hopes that these tracks will resonate deeply, becoming the soundtrack to listeners’ own romantic journeys.

Before diving into this love story, however, Russell wanted to set the stage with a proper introduction. He explains, “Homecoming is meant to be an entry point into who I am, what I’m about, and how I want to make people feel. The song captures this exciting phase of my life, but it’s also about the joy of returning home and realizing how much you’ve grown. It’s about stepping into a new chapter while holding onto the lessons of the past.”
