Lady Gaga, the 13-time Grammy Award-winning icon, continues to redefine her artistry with the release of “DISEASE (THE POISON LIVE),” a guitar-driven, electrifying reinvention of her latest single. Taken from her highly anticipated album set to drop in February 2025, this raw and intimate rendition showcases Gaga’s unmatched ability to transform a pop anthem into a hauntingly multidimensional masterpiece. Following last week’s acoustic “DISEASE (THE ANTIDOTE LIVE),” Gaga proves once again why she’s a musical force like no other.

Produced by Gaga herself, “DISEASE (THE POISON LIVE)” is a testament to her versatility, stripping down the track to its core while amplifying its emotional resonance. Recorded at the renowned Woodshed Studios in Malibu, CA, the accompanying music video captures the raw energy of the performance in stunning detail—watch it HERE. Stream/download the track HERE.

Since its debut on October 25, “DISEASE” has continued to captivate fans and critics alike, with each version unveiling a new layer of its emotional intensity and sonic depth. The song is a striking preview of Gaga’s upcoming project, affectionately nicknamed LG7, which promises to traverse genres, textures, and emotions with fearless innovation. Rooted in pop yet daring in its exploration, the track weaves vulnerability, intensity, and soulful artistry into a genre-defying experience.

Critics have hailed the original release of “DISEASE” as a career-defining moment for Gaga. Harper’s Bazaar called it “classic Gaga in the best way,” while BBC lauded its “dark, dazzlingly maximalist” production. Clash highlighted the “killer chorus,” and The Independent declared it “her best in a long while,” dubbing it a “potent dose of dungeon-dark electro-pop.” The Guardian praised its “fizzing, distorted synths” and “pounding, slightly industrial beat” as a nostalgic nod to late 2000s Gaga, while Rolling Stone raved about its “cavernous synth line” and “shout-along chorus.”

The cinematic music video, directed by the visionary Tanu Muino, has been equally celebrated. Vogue named it “one of the best videos of the year,” with W describing it as a “theater-like, cinematic experience.” Uproxx called the visuals “haunting” and praised them for making the track’s passionate lyrics even more powerful.

With “DISEASE (THE POISON LIVE),” Lady Gaga cements her legacy as a boundary-pushing artist, unafraid to reimagine her sound and connect with audiences on a visceral level. Don’t miss the chance to experience this extraordinary release—stream, download, and watch now. Stream/download HERE Watch the video HERE.
