Get ready for Austin Psych Fest 2025, where indie rock legends, mind-bending psych rock, and tripped-out experimental sounds collide in the ultimate South Austin backyard—The Far Out Lounge. From April 25-27, APF will once again redefine the boundaries of psychedelia, blending shoegaze, cumbia, and fuzzed-out guitars with the ever-evolving spirit of ‘60s sonic exploration.

This year’s lineup is stacked with genre-defining artists who push music to its limits. Friday night brings post-rock powerhouses EXPLOSIONS IN THE SKY and GODSPEED YOU! BLACK EMPEROR, delivering emotive, cinematic soundscapes without a single word. Heavy psych juggernauts BLACK MOUNTAIN and KADAVAR round out Day One alongside Austin’s own OCTOPUS PROJECT and more.

Saturday night takes a turn into the cosmic with electronic psych duo DARKSIDE, indie rock royalty KIM GORDON, and the infectious grooves of STRFKR, plus avant-garde mastermind GEORDIE GREEP, and indie favorites SASAMI and WOMBO.

Sunday wraps up with an electrifying finale featuring ‘90s alt-rock heroes DINOSAUR JR, performing their landmark album Without A Sound, alongside indie icons YO LA TENGO, Peruvian cumbia legends LOS MIRLOS, and the dreamy sounds of LA LUZ. Plus, alt-rock sensations BÔA, legendary DEAN WAREHAM performing Galaxie 500 classics, and garage rock favorites MYSTERY LIGHTS and HOLY WAVE.

But that’s not all—expect jaw-dropping video art installations from MAD ALCHEMY, TV EYE, and more immersive visuals that will take you on a wild ride.

Tickets are on sale now! Grab your 3-day passes or single-day tickets, with limited early bird options available. Don’t miss out—secure your spot at this celebration of sound, art, and pure psychedelic bliss.
