Brace yourself—Bug Eyed is here to shake things up. The London-based duo, Blue O’Grady and Charlie Sale, announce their highly anticipated debut EP, We Talk Thunderstorms Not Showers (Part 1), landing February 12th via Atlantic Records. Alongside the announcement, they’ve dropped their intoxicating new single, “Snug as a Bug”, a late-night fever dream pulsing with connection, euphoria, and the hazy blur of youthful abandon. Imagine two kindred spirits, fingers intertwined in a fogged-up taxi, high on each other and a little more, burning papers as the city hums around them.

    Who Are Bug Eyed?

Meeting Bug Eyed is like stepping into a sonic whirlwind—electric, chaotic, and utterly magnetic. The South-West London duo weaves vivid storytelling into a sound that refuses to be boxed in, blending indie, electro-pop, hip-hop, 80s synth, and 90s fuzz-rock guitars into something wholly their own. Think cinematic narratives wrapped in lush, layered soundscapes—songs that soundtrack the reckless beauty of youth, love, and ambition in a world that never slows down.

    A Thunderstorm of an EP

We Talk Thunderstorms Not Showers (Part 1) is packed with raw emotion and genre-bending sonics, including previously released fan-favorites:

    • “Back Seats” – a woozy lament on love lost.

    • “Ten To Twelve” – a visceral dive into altered states and best-friend confessions.

    • “A Rated Horror Movies” – a cinematic synth-pop gut punch chronicling Blue’s first major heartbreak.

    Bug Eyed Hits the Road

Fresh off supporting Sad Night Dynamite and a standout set at Pitchfork Festival Paris, Bug Eyed is ready to take their high-voltage live show across Europe. Kicking off in February, they’ll be joining Lola Young on her UK and European tour. Buckle up—it’s going to be a wild ride.
