Meet The Hausplants—a powerhouse indie post-punk trio from Vancouver with a global sound that defies borders. With roots stretching from Iran, Mongolia, and Minnesota, their music is a collision of cultures, energy, and fearless experimentation. And now, they’re about to unleash their most electrifying work yet—on February 7th, they drop their new EP, Into Equilibrium! Get ready to listen!

Formed in 2022, The Hausplants have quickly become a must-see act in Vancouver’s underground scene, lighting up everything from DIY spaces to packed local venues. Their live shows? High-voltage. Unpredictable. Unforgettable.

Their 2023 debut EP, Bright, Indirect Light, was a raw, self-produced statement of intent, packed with angular guitar lines, punchy rhythms, and introspective lyricism. Critics and fans took notice, cementing the band as one of Vancouver’s most exciting new names.

Now, they’re pushing their creativity even further—recording their second EP in a pantry. Yes, a pantry. Because why not? It’s a fitting metaphor for The Hausplants’ resourceful, DIY spirit, proving that great music doesn’t need a million-dollar studio—just passion, grit, and a space that makes you feel alive.

With Into Equilibrium, they’re turning up the volume, blurring genre lines, and bringing even more of their global influences into the mix. Don’t miss this. February 7th—mark it down. Need something bc now? Listen below to their enigmatic song “Edge Of The World”:
