Alongside it comes “Dunes of Djoser”, a transportive, genre-bending track born from a mystical journey through Egypt’s Saqqara desert.
Where previous single “Sunchaser” radiated with sun-worship energy, “Dunes of Djoser” slips into something more surreal and spiritual. It’s a place where funk grooves drift through desert air, psych guitars shimmer like heat waves, and time itself seems to slow down. Kadawatha captures the feeling of standing at the edge of ancient wonder, weaving world music textures with modern production into something wholly original.

His past work nods to spy-film scores, Thai psychedelia, and Khruangbin-esque cool, but his reach extends far beyond comparisons.
