Arc De Soleil—Swedish multi-instrumentalist and sonic shape-shifter Daniel Kadawatha—has officially announced his debut album Lumin Rain, landing June 27 via Maison Arts. Alongside it comes “Dunes of Djoser”, a transportive, genre-bending track born from a mystical journey through Egypt’s Saqqara desert.

Where previous single “Sunchaser” radiated with sun-worship energy, “Dunes of Djoser” slips into something more surreal and spiritual. It’s a place where funk grooves drift through desert air, psych guitars shimmer like heat waves, and time itself seems to slow down. Kadawatha captures the feeling of standing at the edge of ancient wonder, weaving world music textures with modern production into something wholly original.

A self-contained force—writing, recording, mixing, and producing every note himself—Kadawatha has built Arc De Soleil into a low-key phenomenon with over 250 million streams and a cult following that’s chased him across Reddit threads and sold-out shows. His past work nods to spy-film scores, Thai psychedelia, and Khruangbin-esque cool, but his reach extends far beyond comparisons.

With Lumin Rain and the mesmerizing “Dunes of Djoser,” Arc De Soleil isn’t just releasing music—he’s inviting us into a cinematic sound world where the past echoes through the present and every groove feels eternal.
