After 14 years as the soulful backbone of 5 Seconds of Summer, Calum Hood is stepping into his own light. His debut solo album, ORDER chaos ORDER, drops June 13 via Capitol Records—marking a bold new chapter for the artist who helped define a generation of pop-rock.

The album is a deeply personal reflection on transformation, emotional reckoning, and finding balance between clarity and chaos. “This album was made in a tumble dryer of knowing and not knowing,” Hood says. “Eventually, I learned to embrace both.”

Leading the way is his stunning first solo single, “Don’t Forget You Love Me”, co-written and produced by TMS and Jack LaFrantz. With haunting melodies and introspective lyrics, it’s an aching, cinematic ballad of heartbreak and healing. The video, directed by Andy DeLuca, captures the track’s atmosphere with lush visuals and quiet power.

Created with Jackson Phillips (Day Wave) and contributions from David Burris and TMS, the album is a raw, emotionally nuanced body of work—one that Hood says finally lets him share the parts of himself he’s never been able to voice: his upbringing, family, and inner world.

ORDER chaos ORDER is a solo debut years in the making, and the start of something extraordinary.
