Zara Larsson Unleashes Arena-Ready Anthem “Pretty Ugly” + 2025 Tour Dates

Zara Larsson crashes into her next chapter with “Pretty Ugly,” a fearless, high-voltage single that proves she’s just getting started. Produced by MNEK and Margo XS, the track marries low-slung electro beats and ’90s house keys with Zara’s unapologetic swagger. Her verses strut over the groove, then the chorus detonates into a stadium-ready shout-along: “Have you ever seen a pretty girl get ugly like this? / Messy like this? / Losing her shit?” It’s raw, it’s honest, and it turns the idea of “ladylike” on its head.

Charlotte Rutherford’s video amps up the mayhem—Zara arrives barefoot in a retro VW to find a battalion of women in perfect formation, only to watch the choreography dissolve into a feral, mud-drenched free-for-all. It’s pop spectacle meets primal release, and it captures Zara’s mantra: sometimes it’s fun to get a little wild.

Following the sleek maturation of VENUS and the viral triumph of “Symphony” with Clean Bandit, “Pretty Ugly” is a revolution in three minutes—an arena-sized firecracker that teases an album to come later this year. If this is Zara’s new sound, consider our expectations blown away.
