Brooklyn’s rising underground sensation Swordes unleashes “Boyfriend La La La”—a sugar-coated club banger dripping in manic energy and glitch-pop chaos. It’s twisted, it’s theatrical, it’s dangerously catchy. Swordes leans into the character of a “crazy girlfriend,” chanting hypnotic hooks over cartoonish 808s and pulsing basslines. It’s the first taste of her self-produced debut album due later this year—a bold fusion of alt-pop vocals and ’90s dancefloor nostalgia.

Born in Honolulu and forged in Brooklyn’s rave scene, Swordes has been turning heads with her computer-free live sets full of synths, drum machines, and operatic vocals. Since 2021, she’s carved her own lane with cinematic performances that blur the line between fashion, noise, and hyperpop. With nods from Versace (SS25 runway sync), PAPER, and FLAUNT, plus a viral TikTok presence, Swordes is building a cult world of her own design.

Don’t miss her EU debut this spring.

    Upcoming Live Dates:

    5.20.2025 – Badaboum – Paris, FR (w/ Acopia)
