Provoker return with Mausoleum, their boldest, darkest album yet—out now via YEAR0001. The LA-based trio sharpen their noir-drenched post-punk sound with cinematic flair, emotional heft, and ghostly atmospheres. Executive produced by Kenny Beats (aka Kenneth Blume), the record trades their previous isolationist approach for a collaborative vision featuring contributions from Simon Christensen, Mikey Freedom Hart, Elliot Kozell, and more.
On Mausoleum, Provoker shift from the supernatural to something more human—songs about self-worth, loss, and inner hauntings, all wrapped in visceral imagery and brooding synths. Watch the eerie video for the title track here and stream the full album here.
The band’s headline North American tour kicks off May 17 at Cruel World Festival and runs through June with support from RIP Swirl and faerybabyy. Tickets available now.
With a cult fanbase, a string of electrifying festival sets, and a sound that continues to evolve and thrill, Mausoleum cements Provoker’s status as one of the most compelling acts in underground music.
