    Unknown Mortal Orchestra is back with Curse, a six-track EP arriving June 18th that dives headfirst into chaos and catharsis. Lead single “Boys with the Characteristics of Wolves” is a blistering, metal-tinged standout — a twisted anthem that blends eerie experimentalism with an irresistible chorus, complete with a Ruban Nielson-directed video.

    Inspired by vintage Italian horror, Curse pairs Sabbath-sized riffs with the dreamy finesse that defines UMO’s sound. From the warped beauty of “Death Comes From the Sky” to the snarling opener, this is a record built for dancing on the edge of the abyss.

    Nielson describes Curse as “music for confronting the void — with dark laughter and maybe a little hope.” Following March’s IC-02 Bogotá, this new release reminds us why UMO remains one of the most captivating forces in experimental rock.
