Model/Actriz made a ferocious leap into the spotlight last night, delivering a jaw-dropping performance of “Cinderella” on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert. With a pulse-pounding display of strobe-lit theatrics, frontperson Cole Haden owned the stage—spinning, strutting, and throwing fists to the sky in a blaze of blue light and swagger. It wasn’t just a TV debut; it was a sonic spectacle.

The performance comes hot on the heels of their second album Pirouette, released last month via True Panther. A bold evolution from their 2023 breakout Dogsbody, Pirouette is a tightly coiled post-punk thrill ride, with razor-sharp production from Seth Manchester and mastering by Matt Colton—both returning from the band’s debut to help shape its newer, more volatile edge. The record includes fan-favorite singles “Doves,” “Diva,” and the scorched-earth anthem “Cinderella.”

Already hailed for their visceral live shows, Model/Actriz has conquered stages across North America and is now storming through a slate of European dates. With appearances locked in at Kalorama, C2C, and Down the Rabbit Hole festivals, the band continues its relentless rise, leaving sweat-soaked stages and stunned audiences in their wake.

Watch the “Cinderella” performance now—this is what it looks like when a band sets fire to the rules.
