Lord Huron return with their fifth studio album, The Cosmic Selector Vol. 1 — a genre-bending odyssey written and co-produced by frontman Ben Schneider, featuring appearances by Kristen Stewart (“Who Laughs Last”) and Kazu Makino of Blonde Redhead (“Fire Eternal”).

A jukebox of alternate realities, the album explores the idea of fate as song choice: What if you picked the wrong track? Or misheard the lyrics entirely? Inspired by the mythic machine on its cover, The Cosmic Selector is the latest extension of the vast, strange, and spellbinding Lord Huron universe.

More than just a band, Lord Huron are world-builders — a tight-knit crew of Michiganders who treat albums like cinematic story arcs. Led by Schneider’s journalistic lineage and love of storytelling, the band continues to create immersive music full of mystery, character, and imagination.

Lord Huron isn’t just soundtracking TV dramas or selling out 15,000-seat venues — they’re cultivating a fan-driven mythology with heart, depth, and adventure.
