“REVELATOR” — Out Now via R&R
August 6, 2025 — American troubadour Paul Dally reemerges with “Revelator”, a dusty, glowing ballad that builds from hushed intimacy to widescreen Americana. Dally’s rich baritone is front and center, while harmonicas wail, handclaps echo like campfire percussion, and voices rise like smoke.
It’s his first release on R&R since 2024’s Moonlit Breakers EP (featuring labelmate Dijon), and he’s in good company — both Mk.gee and Dijon previously tapped him to open their LA shows.
The single is accompanied by a captivating live visual from filmmaker Danica Arias Kleinknecht, known for her work with Mk.gee & Dijon. In this stripped-down version, Dally sits with just his acoustic guitar and a few friends, letting the final embers of twilight carry the song home.
🎥 “Revelator (Live)” is a slow burn, filmed as dusk fades, where raw soul and storytelling do all the talking. Watch it here.
🌲 WHO IS PAUL DALLY?
Raised on Vashon Island in the Pacific Northwest and sharpened on the streets of New York City, Dally crafts vivid sonic postcards from across the American landscape. His lyrics are soaked in roadside imagery — neon gas station flickers, lovers in passing cars, and the soft roar of tailpipe dreams.
