Grandbrothers’ latest single, “Where Else”, is a track forged in the heat of the stage. Built on a relentless four-to-the-floor rhythm, swirling synths, and cascading piano, it captures the transformation of their live shows from seated halls to standing, pulsating crowds. What began as a set-closer has now become their boldest statement yet, bridging club euphoria with the duo’s signature cinematic depth.

“It became our closer, the track we’d always end on,” says Lukas Vogel. “There’s something open and forward-moving about it – it felt like a good place to say: this is where we are now.” That “now” is one of forward momentum, evolution, and unapologetic energy.

Accompanying the release is a live video filmed at Haldern Pop Festival earlier this month, where the track’s hypnotic power takes on an even greater intensity under the night sky.

“Where Else” is the third preview from Grandbrothers’ upcoming album Elsewhere, due September 26 via _and_others. If this single is any indication, Elsewhere will be their most ambitious, rhythmically charged, and emotionally expansive record yet.
