New Jersey-born, Queens-based artist Car Culture (aka Daniel Fisher, best known as Physical Therapy) has announced his sophomore album Rest Here, arriving October 9th via NAFF Recordings. Alongside the news, Fisher shares the shimmering title track “Rest Here,” out now with an official visualizer.

Blending shoegaze textures, fuzzy dream pop, and downtempo electronics, Rest Here expands Fisher’s sonic palette, pushing beyond his celebrated dance music catalog. Layered guitars, live drums, and emotionally rich vocals (including guest features from Squirrel Flower and Ms Ray) make this his most intimate project yet. Co-produced with longtime friend Patrick Holland, the album was mixed by Holland and mastered by Matt Colton.

The release follows this summer’s Nothingburger EP and marks a bold new chapter for Car Culture—equal parts tender, psychedelic, and heart-wrenching. Fisher will also embark on his first-ever live tour this fall, beginning with a release party at Nowadays (NYC) on October 16 and continuing across the U.S. and Europe.
