Scottish producer, DJ, and songwriter Sam Gellaitry is stepping into the spotlight with his long-awaited debut album Anywhere Here Is Perfect, due out November 7 via Major Recordings / Warner Records. To mark the announcement, he’s dropped the dazzling new single “Curious” featuring Toro y Moi, complete with a Dan Franco–directed video set at a euphoric karaoke party.

The track captures everything that makes Gellaitry such an exciting artist: vivid, kaleidoscopic production shaped by synesthesia, paired here with Toro y Moi’s genre-blurring vocals. It’s playful, hypnotic, and feels like a collision of future-pop and shimmering dance floor romance. As Gellaitry explains: “Curious is about that spark of attraction in a social setting, the playful back-and-forth in your head. To hear Toro’s voice on my track was a blessing—he’s one of my biggest inspirations.” Toro adds: “Sam’s got the sauce.”

Anywhere Here Is Perfect promises to be the culmination of years of sonic exploration across EPs like Escapism and IV, plus collaborations with Kaytranada, PinkPantheress, GoldLink, and salute. The album announcement follows viral success with “Assumptions,” which broke into TikTok’s Viral Top 50, Shazam’s Global Top 200, and YouTube’s Global Top Songs on Shorts, proving Gellaitry’s music connects across platforms and generations.

Gellaitry will bring this technicolour vision to the stage this fall, with a string of US headline shows (San Francisco, Los Angeles, Brooklyn) alongside DJ sets supporting Justice, Kaytranada, and Madeon.
