Charlotte Gainsbourg Returns with “Blurry Moon” — A Saint Laurent Collaboration

Charlotte Gainsbourg sits behind the wheel of a vintage car at night, the Los Angeles skyline glowing in the distance. Neon lights and shadows frame the scene, creating a moody, cinematic atmosphere that echoes the dreamlike tone of the “Blurry Moon” video.

Today, the iconic French-British singer and actor Charlotte Gainsbourg shares her new single “Blurry Moon” via Because Music, in collaboration with legendary fashion house Saint Laurent. Produced and arranged by SebastiAn, the track is both tender and melancholic, Gainsbourg’s voice floating with haunting delicacy. Listen/Watch here.

The accompanying video marks a milestone: the directorial debut of Saint Laurent’s creative director Anthony Vaccarello and the brand’s first official musical project. Shot against the Los Angeles skyline, the cinematic short follows Gainsbourg driving down Mulholland Drive — a surreal and dreamlike journey inspired by David Lynch and Angelo Badalamenti. The result is an offbeat ode to Hollywood illusions: part intimate portrait, part stylish reverie.

“Blurry Moon” captures Gainsbourg at her most evocative — fragile yet magnetic, timeless yet experimental — reaffirming her place as one of music and cinema’s most distinctive voices.
