Tour Dates Begin: January 15, 2026

After a triumphant 20th anniversary world tour, Clap Your Hands Say Yeah will strip it all back in 2026 for a deeply personal run of North American shows titled “Piano & Voice.” Kicking off January 15 in Boston, the tour offers fans a rare chance to experience Alec Ounsworth’s haunting songwriting in its purest, most vulnerable form.

Performed solo and reimagined with just piano and voice, this new tour finds Ounsworth revisiting two decades of CYHSY’s genre-defining catalog with an emotional rawness that brings his songs’ inner architecture to light.

“Essentially, this is an opportunity for me to put forward my songs in their starkest form,” says Ounsworth. “It’s been a chance to connect with the work on a new—but familiar—level. Be ready for some raw emotion. That’s exactly what I need right now.”

Fresh off sold-out European performances in this stripped-down format, Ounsworth brings the show stateside to intimate theaters and art spaces across the U.S. and Canada through mid-February. Fans can also grab an extremely limited black-and-white splatter vinyl of Bootleg Series Vol. 1 – Piano & Voice Live at Servant Jazz Quarters—available online and at shows while supplies last.

Meanwhile, the 20th Anniversary Tour of the band’s self-titled 2005 debut continues this fall with headline stops in Japan, Australia, and New Zealand, following a year of sold-out performances across the Americas and Europe.
