    💿 Pre-Order Secret Love

London’s Dry Cleaning have announced an extensive 2026 North American and UK/EU tour in celebration of their forthcoming album Secret Love, out January 9 via 4AD. The record follows their acclaimed 2022 release Stumpwork, marking another evolution in the band’s singular mix of post-punk textures, surreal spoken word, and dry wit.

The first single, “Hit My Head All Day,” is a woozy, propulsive standout that Paste has already hailed as “an instant-classic single.” The New York Times praised frontperson Florence Shaw for inventing “a strikingly original mode of nonmelodic songwriting that floats somewhere between stand-up, poetry, and fourth-wall-breaking soliloquy.”

    About the Album

Secret Love finds Florence Shaw, Tom Dowse, Nick Buxton, and Lewis Maynard at their creative peak. Recorded between sessions in Chicago (The Loft with Jeff Tweedy), Dublin (Sonic Studios with Gilla Band’s Alan Duggan and Daniel Fox), and France’s Loire Valley (with producer Cate Le Bon), the album captures the electric tension between playfulness and restraint.

Musically, it’s a collage of Reagan-era punk paranoia, no-wave cool, stoner rock haze, and pastoral beauty—anchored by Shaw’s inimitable, hypnotic delivery. Cate Le Bon describes the band’s chemistry as “a unique vitality and life force that exists between them all.”

The album will be available across formats including limited edition Apricot vinyl (4AD exclusive), Pearl/Arctic vinyl (Rough Trade), and a 48-hour-only white label pressing available via the 4AD store.

    Tour Highlights

The Secret Love tour will bring Dry Cleaning’s mesmerizing live show to major venues including Brooklyn Steel, The Wiltern (LA), and London’s O2 Brixton Academy. Support on select U.S. dates comes from YHWH Nailgun.
