Steve Miller — A Jazz Tribute at Lincoln Center

    🗓 Nov. 14 & 15, 2025 • 7:30 p.m.

📍 Rose Theater, Jazz at Lincoln Center, NYC

    🎟 Tickets & Info

Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Songwriters Hall of Fame icon Steve Miller returns to Jazz at Lincoln Center for two unforgettable nights honoring the visionary legacies of Eddie Harris and Chico Hamilton—two artists who forever reshaped the sound of modern jazz. The special event, set for Nov 14–15 at Rose Theater, unites Miller’s blues-rock mastery with the improvisational fire of an all-star jazz ensemble and special guests Lil’ Nathan & the Zydeco Big Timers.

“Eddie Harris and Chico Hamilton each expanded the language of jazz,” says Miller. “Their music was courageous, soulful, and full of curiosity—reminding us that jazz is, at its core, a conversation.”

Miller will be joined by an electrifying lineup featuring Shelly Berg (keys), Brian Nova (guitar), Russell Hall (bass), Craig Handy, Lauren Sevian, and Patrick Bartley (saxophones), Herlin Riley (drums), and Michael Rodriguez (trumpet)—each adding their own voice to this two-night celebration of rhythm and soul.

Adding a vibrant Louisiana twist, Grammy-nominated Lil’ Nathan & the Zydeco Big Timers bring their signature blend of Creole grooves and blues spirit, ensuring the night bridges the full spectrum of American roots music.

As a longtime Jazz at Lincoln Center Board Member and collaborator of Wynton Marsalis, Miller has curated an acclaimed concert series exploring the connective threads between jazz and the blues—including T-Bone Walker: A Bridge from Blues to Jazz and The Future of the Blues. This latest performance continues that mission: honoring the genre’s innovators while inviting audiences to rediscover its living pulse.
