(November 4, 2025 – Paris, France) — Visionary French pop auteur Sébastien Tellier unveils his new EP Naïf de Cœur (Alternative Versions) — a meditative and sensual reimagining of his recent single “Naïf de Cœur.” The release arrives as a prelude to his upcoming studio album Kiss the Beast, due January 30, 2026, and features reinterpretations by Johnny Jewel (Italians Do It Better) and Midnight Juggernauts, alongside a stripped-back piano version performed by Tellier himself.

The result is a three-part emotional journey, tracing love through tenderness, tension, and transcendence — a sonic prism refracting the light of a single heart.

“Naïf de Cœur is about love without filters, without strategy,” Tellier explains. “A raw emotion that I wanted to revisit from different angles — as if each version revealed another truth of the same heart.”

A Trio of Emotions: From Intimate to Icy

Across its three tracks, Naïf de Cœur (Alternative Versions) transforms the original’s luminous synth-pop pulse into something more cinematic and introspective.

Tellier’s Piano Version strips the song to its core — fragile, melancholic, and human.

Johnny Jewel’s Remix infuses noir disco undertones reminiscent of Chromatics and Drive, with shimmering analog arpeggios and nocturnal depth.

⚡ Midnight Juggernauts push the energy into kinetic dreamwave territory — a euphoric crescendo that feels tailor-made for late-night Parisian drives.

Together, these versions mirror the facets of Tellier himself — romantic, enigmatic, and mischievously avant-garde.

“Naïf de Cœur” — The Video

Directed by Melchior Leroux, the official video for “Naïf de Cœur” is drenched in soft light and surreal intimacy, a visual meditation on vulnerability and rebirth. Leroux, who previously collaborated with Tellier on several short films and live visuals, brings a tactile, dreamlike texture that blurs reality with memory.

“I wanted the video to feel like waking up from a dream you don’t want to end,” says Leroux.

    Kiss the Beast

     — Out January 30, 2026

Tellier’s upcoming full-length, Kiss the Beast, marks a triumphant return for the French icon — a sprawling, opulent pop odyssey that bridges Parisian elegance and global experimentation. Recorded between Paris and London, the album features contributions from:

    • Victor Le Masne
    • SebastiAn (Ed Banger Records)
    • Daniel Stricker (Midnight Juggernauts)
    • Oscar Holter (The Weeknd, Charli XCX)
    • Owen Pallett (Strings)
    • Nile Rodgers (Guitar)
    • Kid Cudi & Slayyyter (Guest Vocals)

“This record is an extravagant love letter to pop — intimate and universal at once,” Tellier says.

The album blends orchestral grandeur with lush electronic production, revealing an artist equally at home in disco, chanson, and cosmic pop.

A Legacy of French Pop Modernism

Since his 2001 debut L’incroyable Vérité, Sébastien Tellier has remained one of France’s most magnetic musical figures — a composer, singer, and producer whose work oscillates between irony and sincerity, futurism and nostalgia.

After the sleek synth conceptualism of Domesticated (2020), Tellier has expanded his creative reach — scoring films, collaborating with fashion houses, and performing at the opening ceremony of the 2024 Paris Paralympic Games, where his timeless “La Ritournelle” once again captivated millions.

“Twenty years after Politics, Tellier continues to reinvent pop — not as a genre, but as a philosophy of feeling.”
