    First Hate

    “The One”

    A Prayer For The Unemployed

Invading the States from Copenhagen, First Hate has climbed from the international snake pit to emerge as champions of electronic dance funk/punk.  Sounding like Depeche Mode married the Cure and spit out Alan Vega, First Hate is very dark, very beautiful, very troublesome.  Coming from the happiest country in the world, First Hate sounds anything but happy.  Made up of Joakim Nørgaard & Anton Falck, First Hate likes to call themselves Snake Rhythm, this is that dark funky music that made the 80’s great, but don’t think these guys are retro.  They are very much today.  Thank god someone realized we needed a break from the pop banality being released as dance music.  Now, if they would only come to the States.
