Casey Stratton is one of my personal heroes. Stratton walked away from a huge record contract to create and release some of the most beautiful and personal records ever. His talent is unbelievable, his voice crystal clear and emotionally tinged, his piano playing is some of the best you’ll ever heard, and he is one of the most humble musicians out there. I admire the fact he teaches music as a living. Such a giving person. His new album is a tribute to the sea and all the beauty and dangers that presents, and how our own lives are like the sea. This is a deep, wonderful album, and it might be Stratton’s most beautiful. Listen and fall in love with a wonderful talent.
