Coming from Gothenburg, Sweden, Little Dragon have the dance/pop groove down perfectly. Sounding like a cross between Deee-Lite and (surprisingly) Gloria Esteban, Little Dragon add that touch of Chic and humor that is perfect for great dance music. The beat is perfect, Yukimi Nagano has a perfect soulful voice, and the production is crisp and fun. Little Dragon is Yukimi Nagano, Fredrik Wallin, Håkan Wirenstrand, and Erik Bodin. Between the four of them, they have really produced the best dance pop I’ve heard for a while. As the band describes their music, they are “Dreamy, rhythmical, shifting, moody rainbow sounds”. That is the perfect word. I say, dance away your long winter nights.
