Haley Heynderickx not only has an oddly spelled name, which I love, but she has this wonderful voice that can only be compared to Angel Olsen. She has this beautiful, intimate, whooping style, flying from one note to another like a lark. “No Face” is an amazing song. Just her voice and her unique plucking technique, when the song is over, it ends, bluntly but beautifully. Haley is a treasure, no doubt. Of Filipino heritage and deeply religious background, her music is a combination of love and positivity. I love Haley. She makes feel good and embowered, even when singing about powerlessness. She is amazing. People like her helped make 2018 a memorable year.
