Winter Music: Christopher Sky – “End Of An Era”

    “End Of An Era”

    Vastness

Another beautiful song and album out for 2019.  Christopher Sky (aka Christopher Garcia) has created a sound that seems half Brian Eno, half Eric Satie.  Sky claims his music is similar to “opening a box and pouring the music out.”  As his bio describes the music:

Employing guitar, rhodes piano, electronics and loops, Christopher Sky crafts soundscapes that feel boundless and expansive. Constantly evolving, each piece adopts nuanced textural and rhythmic motifs as both narrative devices and atmospheric signifiers.

This is perfect winter music.  Enjoy, drift along with the music.
