“For The Better, For The Worse”

    Someday You’ll Be Mine

The greatest country/folk treasure Nashville has to offer is back again with a great EP.  Jake Fields has one of those voices that really gets to you, and, when on the chorus of “For The Better, For The Worse” he hits those crystal clear high notes, my heart takes a giant leap.  This is truly beautiful music.  As his press puts it:

each song individually boasts a unique sound that collectively showcase Fields’ exceptional ability to utilize genre fluidity to craft a sound that is entirely his own. The result is an impressive release with a wide stylistic variety that is bound to satisfy audiences of all musical tastes.

it is true.  Fields’ music has appeal for everyone while never sacrificing the fact that Fields is a unique, important artist.
