What an asskicking band. Dead By Wednesday represents what I love about heavy metal: killer riffs, pounding bass, drums drums and more drums propelling you into the pit, great sick vocals to put most bands to shame, and a great sense of irony (thank you, Wednesday Addams). Dead By Wednesday is comprised of master shredder Dave Sharpe on guitar (ex-Blood Has Been Shed w/ Howard Jones, End-Time Illusion), Rob Roy on vocals and original founding members Mike Modeste on bass and Christian “Opus” Lawrence holding down the fierce foundation and furious rhythm section. This is a super band. They and The Pleading from Nashville are making hard rock/heavy metal fun and wild again. Coming from New England, I’m sure they guys rocked and shocked the whole quiet Yankee sentiment. This is a killer band.
