Tahliah Debrett Barnett aka as FKA twigs is a singer/performer whose style of music cannot be pinned down.  Born in Glouchestershire of a Jamaican jazz singer and an English/Spanish singer/dancer, FKA twigs was destined for music.  Her voice is a pure, unadulterated soprano which she uses to bring her message across.  Her music has been compared to everyone from Tricky to Janet Jackson, but I believe that she is above classification.  Listen to her music, don’t judge because of looks (in that, she reminds me of Poly Styrene).  All I know, her music touches me.  Her voice is stylistically almost perfect.  Listen to her.  You’ll be pleasant surprised and you’ll become a fan yourself.
