Little Simz, a London-born artist, has emerged as one of the most compelling and innovative voices in the global music scene. Her artistry defies simple categorization, blending elements of hip-hop, grime, and rap with introspective lyricism and experimental beats. Her most recent EP ‘Drop 7’ is dance ready and too hot to handle! Listen below:

Simz has shown remarkable evolution since her debut. Beginning with mixtapes that showcased her raw talent and lyrical prowess, she has continuously expanded her musical palette. Albums like “GREY Area” and “Sometimes I Might Be Introvert” exhibit a growth in production complexity and thematic depth, revealing an artist who is unafraid to explore personal and social issues. The diversity in her sound, from the introspective and orchestral to the hard-hitting grime beats, underscores her versatility.

Recently receiving three BRIT Award nominations for Album of the Year, Artist of the Year, and Best Hip-Hop/Grime/Rap Act, along with a MOBO Award for Best Hip Hop Act, Little Simz has unveiled a new EP titled “Drop 7.” This latest addition to her discography continues the tradition of concise, impactful projects that have punctuated her distinguished career. Following its predecessor, “Drop 6,” and celebrating a decade since the series began in August 2014, “Drop 7” is a collection of seven tracks that blend Simz’s signature reflective lyrics with avant-garde, dancefloor-ready beats from renowned producer Jakwob.

Little Simz stands as a trailblazer in the music industry, earning numerous accolades including BRIT Awards, MOBOs, and an Ivor Novello Award. Her work spans mixtapes, EPs, and five critically lauded albums that narrate her personal journey and resonate with her generation. The 2021 Mercury Music Prize-winning album, “Sometimes I Might Be Introvert,” propelled Simz into new heights, securing a top 5 spot on the Official Album Chart. This was followed by the unexpected release of “NO THANK YOU” in 2022, an album that took a bold, introspective turn. In 2023, Simz further established her versatility as an acclaimed actor in the final series of the Netflix drama “Top Boy,” while also delivering her most extensive live performances across the UK, Europe, and the US, met with universal acclaim. With the release of “Drop 7,” Little Simz continues to push boundaries and set new standards in her career.

Check out “Drop 7” now and look forward to more groundbreaking work from Little Simz in the near future.
