Automatic Drops “Mercury” + Announces New Album Is It Now? and Fall Tour

L.A.’s Automatic is back with Is It Now?, dropping September 26 via Stones Throw—an album that soundtracks our surreal modern condition with slinky grooves and sly social commentary. Produced by Loren Humphrey (Arctic Monkeys), it’s all raw takes, dreamlike synths, and cheeky defiance.

Their newest single “Mercury” is a trippy, breakbeat-laced lullaby that blends introspection with cosmic shimmer. “Don’t fall into nihilism,” warns Izzy Glaudini. “Lean into mystery.” And Automatic does—while making you move.

Catch them live this fall with Sextile on a co-headlining tour. Full dates below.
