Militarie Gun Announce ‘God Save The Gun’ + BAD IDEA Tour

Militarie Gun, God Save The Gun, BAD IDEA Tour, new album 2025, hardcore punk, Liquid Mike, Public Opinion, post-hardcore, Loma Vista Recordings, Ian Shelton, new music release

Militarie Gun announce God Save The Gun, their highly anticipated new album due October 17 via Loma Vista Recordings, alongside a 21-date U.S. headline run: The BAD IDEA Tour with support from Liquid Mike and Public Opinion. Tickets go on sale Friday, August 22 at 10am local time here.

The tour kicks off October 25 in Palm Springs, CA and hits Louisville, Baltimore, Richmond, New Orleans, Houston, and more before wrapping November 22 in Albuquerque, NM.

Lead single “B A D I D E A” premiered on Apple Music’s New Music Daily with Zane Lowe and arrived with a self-directed video by frontman Ian Shelton. Shelton also spoke with Rolling Stone about the record’s deeply personal themes—shifting from observing cycles of addiction (as on their acclaimed 2023 debut Life Under The Gun) to confronting his own struggles head-on.

With its massive sound, raw honesty, and contributions from longtime collaborators like Phillip Odom, James Goodson (Dazy), Nick Panella (MSPAINT), and producer Riley MacIntyre (Adele, Arlo Parks, The Kills), God Save The Gun is their most urgent and vulnerable work yet.
